7-Day California Wine Country RV Adventure

Day 1: Irvine to Paso Robles (Approx. 4-5 Hour Drive)

  • Morning: Pick up your RV in Irvine and gather supplies.

  • Afternoon: Drive north, enjoying the California scenery.

  • Evening: Arrive in Paso Robles. Settle into Sun Outdoors Paso Robles (formerly Cava Robles RV Resort). This is a very highly rated, modern resort with many amenities. Sun Outdoors Paso Robles Enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Paso Robles Wine Tasting

  • Morning: Explore Paso Robles' wineries. Many offer stunning views and excellent wines. Consider a wine tour or hire a driver.

  • Afternoon: Visit a few more wineries, or explore downtown Paso Robles.

  • Evening: Enjoy dinner at a farm-to-table restaurant in Paso Robles. Stay another night at Sun Outdoors Paso Robles.

Day 3: Paso Robles to Sonoma County (Approx. 4-5 Hour Drive)

  • Morning: Enjoy a final Paso Robles winery visit or a leisurely breakfast.

  • Afternoon: Drive north to Sonoma County.

Day 5: Russian River & Coastal Sonoma

  • Morning: Drive to the Russian River area, known for its scenic beauty and wineries.

  • Afternoon: Explore the coastal town of Bodega Bay, or enjoy hiking in the redwoods.

  • Evening: Enjoy a seafood dinner in Bodega Bay or a nearby town. Return to Wine Country RV Park - Sonoma.

Day 6: Sonoma to Napa Valley (Short Drive)

  • Morning: Enjoy a final Sonoma winery visit.

  • Afternoon: Drive to Napa Valley.

  • Evening: Find a suitable RV park, or stay at a RV friendly location. Due to the popularity of Napa, RV parks can be limited. Consider staying just outside of Napa, and driving in. Enjoy a nice dinner in Napa.

Day 7: Napa Valley & Return to Irvine

  • Morning: Explore Napa Valley's iconic wineries.

  • Afternoon: Begin your drive back to Irvine.

  • Evening: Depending on how far you want to drive, stop along the way, or continue back to Irvine.
